The bedroom at The Loft at Millbrook was designed with one thing in mind — making you never want to get up. A beautiful Laura Ashley king-size bed sits beneath soaring ceilings, dressed in deep, cloud-soft Egyptian cotton and your choice of duck-down or anti-allergy pillows.
A woodland scene wraps the wall behind the bed, bringing the outside in. Bedroom candles flicker on the dresser. The star ceiling projector casts a gentle constellation above you as the LED lights fade to nothing. It is, in every sense, a room for romance.

There is a moment, usually in the early evening, when the light turns golden and the lake below catches fire. From the window seat of The Loft at Millbrook — perched at the very top of the original corn mill — that moment is yours every single night.
The views sweep across Millbrook's 32 acres of gardens, lawns and woodland, with the lake shimmering in the distance. In the morning it's mist and birdsong. By evening, it's candlelight inside and the last glow of the day outside. The lounge is warm and enveloping — designer furniture, LED mood lighting, a log-effect gas stove casting a gentle glow, and dual Alexa speakers filling the room with whatever the evening calls for.

The Loft at Millbrook is located on the second floor of the mill and can be accessed via an external staircase within the mill, as well as an internal staircase within the property, totalling 25 steps. Once upstairs, the bathroom, bedroom, and lounge are all on the same level, while the galleried kitchen is accessible via an additional 4 steps. For more information, please see our Access Guide.
